Directed by Nicola Schito and antonietta viscionE

A war rages in the distance while everyday life continues uninterrupted. Explosions echo beyond the horizon, yet nobody reacts. As conflict slowly merges with the ordinary, the line between awareness and indifference begins to disappear.

Look Away is a short film about distance and indifference.

A conflict unfolds on the horizon while ordinary life continues untouched. People walk, relax, consume and move through familiar spaces as explosions become an increasingly normal presence in the background.

Without dialogue, the film observes the disturbing ease with which violence can become part of everyday imagery, something constantly visible, yet increasingly easy to ignore.
