A grandfather tells his grandson about the creation and development of the greatest human paradox: the age of plastic.

The story explores the concept of paradox through the history of plastic. Starting with the human aspiration to create new solutions and protect animals from exploitation, the invention of plastic marks the beginning of a revolution for human life and the world. However, the birth and evolution of this material revealed a dark side related to human behavior.

Plastic in fact floods the world today, polluting rivers, seas, mountains and even the air we breathe. The story closes by acknowledging this paradox and sending the message that we can improve ourselves and continue to live and play happily by understanding the importance of environmental awareness and responsibility.
